Mr. Scott received his Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. After being admitted to practice law in Texas, he served a few years in a prosecutor capacity and then quickly moved to defending those accused of crimes throughout Texas.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Scott gained extensive experience in law enforcement, including serving as Chief of Police to a DFW area municipality. He has also served as Municipal Judge for various courts in North Texas.
By combining his legal education, with his years of law enforcement experience, Mr. Scott brings a unique perspective that few criminal defense law firms are able to provide their clients by allowing him to evaluate the thought process of the police, prosecutors, and judges. In turn, this aids the Firm in developing strategies to combat the prosecutor's case.
